Yodha Box Office Collection Day 3: Sidharth Malhotra starrer ‘Yodha’ had a lot of buzz before its release. However, after hitting the theatres, it had a very cold opening. Actually, this film could not escape the black magic of Ajay Devgan’s ‘Shaitan’ and due to this, the earnings of ‘Yoddha’ have also been affected. ‘Yoddha’ has been directed by Sagar Ombre and Pushkar Ojha. This film is full of patriotic feelings and its story is based on a plane hijack. Sidharth Malhotra is the ‘warrior’ of this film who saves the life of the passenger while fighting the terrorists. The story of the film is not new, that is why ‘Yoddha’ is not succeeding in drawing the audience to the theatres. However, over the weekend, ‘Yoddha’ has also strengthened its hold at the box office.
Talking about the film’s earnings, ‘Yoddha’ opened its account with Rs 4.1 crore on the first day of its release. After this, on the second day i.e. Saturday, there was a jump of 40.24 percent in the film’s earnings and it earned Rs 5.75 crore. Now the initial figures of earnings of the third day of its release i.e. the first Sunday have come.

‘Yodha’ is facing tough competition from Ajay Devgan and R Madhavan’s ‘Shaitan’ in theatres. ‘Shaitan’ has been busy at the box office for the last 10 days and is printing huge money. ‘Yoddha’ is not doing good business in front of this horror thriller ‘Shaitan’. ‘Yoddha’ has not been able to cross the Rs 20 crore mark in three days of its release, even this film is not able to collect in double digits. However, now the real test will be on Monday. It remains to be seen how ‘Yoddha’ performs at the box office during working days.
